VIGO. The track scored a 3/5 for me! I felt the composition and arranging was still nice and it didn’t get boring I can definitely give that to him! I thought he could of used different vocal samples after the first few of the same words. It fullfills the sampling task though that’s a definite point for him because the sample of “Ennio Morricone - Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo” was very well used I just felt like the dub could of been more greasy and war type but it wasn’t. The quality of sound and mastering was still nice and up to scratch its a definite point for that, I felt it was clean and souned very nice on both my headphones and monitors, the levels were spot on. My general impression of the track was, I think it’s okay but it needs to be more dirtier to compete within this type of competition, the track was a standard sample track I personally felt but the track was still good it just needed some more grittiness to it. P.S.: Overall both producers in the first semi finals were very good and I can’t sly them for much except from Vigo could of made it more gritty and id of possibly given him the choice but Vinnie took it.
VINNI I am giving it a 4/5 The Concept was very very sick, I fully rate how he has layed the tune out & arranged it with the switch ups always refreshing the beat it doesn’t at any point sound boring there is some nice switch ups in there and he has changed the drum patterns now and again on it too aswell as the dirty bass/brass. its does fulfil the sampling task of the track “Millie & Andrea – Temper Tantrum” which I checked out and I like how he’s used certain and made it very greasy and into a sick dub! The quality and mastering is fully on point too, I listened through my monitors & my headphones and they both sounded spot on so I have to give it to him for that, 10/10 for mixing and master, Very very clean. My impression of the track is just yes this is very hard lol I heard it and had to jack it to relisten, I just think its a pure greasy dub and is perfect for this type of competition, I’d love to bang it on my everyday grime page for sure. P.S.: Overall both producers in the first semi finals were very good and I can’t sly them for much except from Vigo could of made it more gritty and id of possibly given him the choice but Vinnie took it.

J Очень разный подход. Бадман пошел по пути типичной, но не менее интересной танцпольной структуры. Каждый отлично проработал концепт, но честно - глубже зацепил dutty.

PS кстати в припевной части посоветовал бы усилить некоторые моменты инструментами с другим тембром (много упора на пэды)
J удивил идеей трека, круто получилось сэмпл Bad Boys обыграть (правда момент с заниженным питчем не совсем как-то вкатил, а вот на высоком питче каеф.). Понравилась общая динамика трека: бодро, не скучно. Но не совсем понравились переходы, мне кажется этот момент единственным упущением во всей работе. В этой паре для меня нет фаворита, оба молодцы и мне сложно выбрать лучшего.
DUTTY : атмосферно, бит требует вокала поверх. А вот без вокала немного скучновато, но это не отменяет тот факт, что всё сделано на уровне: и переходы между частями, и работа с сэмплами. Наверно, здесь можно было бы ещё подумать над дрампартией, мне кажется, из бита можно было выжать больше. В этой паре для меня нет фаворита, оба молодцы и мне сложно выбрать лучшего.

J Composition was on point and he made the track very hyped and I was excited to see what was in store each 16 bar as it went along, all very well chopped and placed I will give him that although i didn’t like some of the weird pitched vocals. It definitely had a mad girimey feel to it but i didn’t like the voices switch ups and then it went abit too bassliney for me at the end! He fully fulfilled the tasks though, used his samples of ‘bad boys’ very well I just felt he could of done somin better with the vocals but still a badman production!!! the mastering and mixing was fully on point and the levels were sounding very very nice, the chops were sick and on point too. My impression was I loved it at first and loved how he used the sample and made it very grimey when it dropped but then the switch up killed it abit for me as i felt it could of been better done but it was still as very hard dub and the end ended up being bassliney not so much grime but the production and idea was very sick still.

He mixed them up very well into a dub and it had a real atmospherical dirty feel to it and it was 1000% Grime.. even the switch ups weren’t too hyped but you could just feel the grittiness and this is what a dub is about, I loved this track.. he used his samples from “Honor & B.A.N.G. – The Anthem (Optimism)” Very well The master and mixing was fully on point, I felt it was very very clean and the levels were up to scratch, setting levels on that. My impression of the track was this is DEEP, I loved how he used the sample he used his samples and make it so atmospheric and deep and again I would love to put this on Everyday Grime, real sick dub.
